Don't forget about NaNo! Remember why you STARTED nano! Remember the stories that cry out to be written, the characters who will never be heard unless you finish!
Remember the thrill of getting your words down on the paper. Kick your inner editor in the beanbags, you can make it PRETTY later. For now, all you need is the idea, down on paper, something to follow, a roadmap for when you edit in December.

I have yet to buy Wrath -- no way do I need that kind of distraction this month.
'Sides, the raiding guild I was in dissolved when 3.01 dropped, so I don't have any folks to play with anyway. :P Anyone in a good horde-side guild?
Anyway: for now, I'm just typettity type typing. Northrend'll still be there in December, and it gives people easy holiday gift ideas.

Sadly, I'm Alliance or I'd extend the offer to come check out our guild.
You're smarter than me anyway - If I didn't have other people wanting to play, I'd have waited to do the expac too. You'd think by now Blizz would have found a way around the whole "single quest mob on a long respawn timer" thing, but nope. It's gank-city out there right now. You'll enjoy it without all that frustration.

Hopefully I'll enjoy Northrend without the gankicity, too. It hasn't helped me get my book done, though, as I try to bring some alts up to speed and continue to re-read everything I can about Wrath so I can hit the ground running. I'm still going to wind up playing a bit of catchup to my guild this weekend, I think.
I will not quit! *solidarity gesture!*
