My personal hierarchy of creative writing
Had a lunch date with a girl. To some who listen to the blogcast, it's the same girl who I had to reschedule with because of blog-related stuff.
Well, this is the second one so far, and so far so good. However, during the commute to Toronto, I was obsessing over a missed opportunity to work on my novel. But I figured that I was doing the right thing, since I really owed it to myself to show her that she's worth taking time off of writing.
It's like a loyalty between guy friends. "Bros before hoes," as they say. But in this case, it's more like, "Hoes before prose!"

But! But!
With the unexpected extra downtime from today's maintenance, I was able to get 1,204 words and finished planning out the rest of the story! Now all that's left is simply writing it, and hopefully it will all fall into place by the 30th...or 31st...whatever the last day in November is.
