Story Thus Far

I don't know how much these blogs or comments can hold, so I'm going to refrain from copy-pasting the first couple of days' worth of my novel up here. Nevertheless, I'm very eager to kind of show it off, especially ever since the switch was forced upon my by my muse. I finally made the switch official, yesterday, on the Nanowrimo site, by clicking the dropdown and changing the genre from Fantasy to Sci-Fi.

Technically, it's a political murder mystery with elements of the fantastic thrown in.

But they didn't have that genre.

I know there are reservations about throwing the entirety of our novels up on a website, but who would be interested in sharing excerpts? Who would be interested in SEEING excerpts?

I can't wait to read yours. I've had the pleasure of reading some of your writing in the past, and I look forward to it.

HOWEVER, that being said, I'm so wrapped up in my own story at this point, that I would probably request that you wait until December before you show it to me, even if you do have fanTABulous stuff written already.

I can't afford to get derailed (or jealous!!) this early in. *grins*

As a side note, that goes for everyone on the site (except the bit about having read your stuff before). I'd love to see excerpts from everyone!!
